We were here to celebrate our anniversary. The service was top notch. Loved all the food options. Everything we ordered was delicious. Will definitely be coming back again and bringing the family.
I'm going to leave one of the best reviews, for one of the best restaurants, with the best service. The staff and food at this establishment is beyond amazing. Our server Lexie was so welcoming and attentive. She made our experience memorable, and comfortable. Highly recommend this place for date night, birthdays, and more make sure you request Lexie if you come in and don't forget to get yummy drinks from the best bartender Mr. Ray Farr!
The service here is TOP NOTCH. I absolutely love this place. They made me feel like a VIP. Very intimate and classy restaurant. The decor is European and very elegant. Our table had a lifting veneer that needs to be fixed though. There are indoor and outdoor seatings. I saw a few private rooms upstairs. One balcony was occupied so I didn't get to go out there to see the patio view from the balcony. The outside patio had these pretty lit up trees. Looks so lovely in the evening. Parking is valet only and it's $6 The food is amazingly displayed and tastes great. This is an upscale restaurant so be ready to pay on average $$$. Lobster Ravioli was good Shrimp Tempura was amazing Branzino was well cooked Blackened Ahi Tuna was delicious T-Bone steak was huge!!!!! And tender This is such a lovely place. It's good for a romantic date, nice family dinner, and events.
The founders of Instagram must have got the idea after eating at this place. The decor is over the top with lots of gold, glass and glitz. And it has the coolest place setting since someone decided to advertise towing and strip clubs on a wet diner's place setting. We had a large party with a dedicated service team for a company dinner, so we ate upstairs in a room that was a great size for our group of 16ish. We didn't feel cramped in. Our waitress (I forget her name) was spectacular. She was on top of everything with drinks and recommendations and taking photos and whatever we needed. I had planned on trying multiple drinks, but the Secret Service was so good, I just stuck with that. Other's saw my reaction and decided to switch up their drinks to this one. For appetizers, we ordered the Volcano Roll, tempura artichokes and calamari piccata. They were mostly sharable, but honestly, I'd not plan on sharing that calamari! Wow, it was so tender and flavorful and by far the best calamari I've had. Get it even if you're allergic, it's that good! I decided to split the Burrata salad with a coworker and they brought it out on two place with a perfectly bifurcated piece of burrata for each of us. So good and appreciate when they split dishes like that. The Tiger Shrimp dinner was a great portion for a table ordering a ton of apps. That's partly the reason I ordered it was it wasn't going to be too heavy. Some of the pasta dishes others ordered were huge and people loved them. Everyone was fairly happy with their meal with the exception of the steak which was overdone. Finally, it was dessert time. I ordered the soufflé and it was worth the wait. It came out, she poked at it then poured various sauces and whipped creams all over it. Wow, what a delight. I didn't make the reservations, I don't have any idea how we got there, and I didn't have to worry about anything, which was great. It was a great meal to kick off our time in Anaheim. I'd recommend if you're looking for a place for a business dinner or to impress someone. Probably better than West Adams White House.
The pasta was good. Don't get the hangar steak, it wasn't good at all. The service was good but a bit slow. The best thing would be the place, it's very nice and romantic. They do tried to make sure that the guests were having a good time. I would come back again for the pasta :). It was delicious
This place is a hidden gem! I haven't been in maybe 15yrs, but this restaurant was just as stunning now as it was back then! This is my first time eating on the outdoor patio, and the ambience was so beautiful & romantic! Everything we ordered had amazing presentation and was so delicious! The staff was amazing, and it was special to be checked on every so often by owner himself, Chef Bruno Serato
Apparently I've passed by this place a ton of times and never knew about it! So, you can imagine my surprise when we made a turn into The White House and I was greeted with a lovely venue and an ever better dinner. After celebrating my birthday all day, we arrived here at 6pm, were greeted by the hostess, and seated outside in the garden. First things first. This place is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful gold and white decor. The best part about the time of our reservation was that after about an hour, when it got dark, the trees were illuminated and made the mood of the whole garden whimsical. We started with a bottle of red from Napa which was the perfect blend of fruity and dry. The pork belly was probably one of the best i've had. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I could have happily eaten that all day. The caesar salad was super unique and featured a rice paper edible plate. The rice paper was a great touch and added an additional level of crispiness which was great. For an entree, we shared a plate of carbonara (probably the best i've had in a while - so flavorful) and the 22 oz T-bone. For dessert, we shared my birthday dessert plate. The creme brûlée was absolutely my favorite of the desserts, but I could totally be biased since it is my favorite dessert of all time. Finally, to finish everything off, we had espressos with some liquor in it. What a wonderful birthday dinner! I'm so lucky to have people in my life that want to make me feel special on my little day and i'm equally as happy that I got to spend some of my great day at The White House.
First off the ambiance is this place is amazing! It's just so pretty and opulent! I didn't really know what to expect as it's located in the middle of a busy area next door to a burger joint. Once you enter the driveway and walk up the ramp, you see a beautiful historic home and a pretty tent covered "front yard" dining area with twinkling flower lights in the trees, perfect for hosting a special event or just a nice dinner. My kids were thrown off with the dining experience as they felt like they were eating in a living room, which it probably was at one point. Next to where we were dining was a "sun room" that would be fun to be seated in also! I explored upstairs and there is a spacious bar area along with a restroom and a couple of the bedrooms that were converted to dining areas as well. So cute. We came here to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We ordered a few drinks, gluten free Penne Amatriciana, penne Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe, margherita pizza and the Whitefish Florentine. We also ordered for dessert the tiramisu, and the soufflé El Niño, and our server brought out a celebration plate of 3 mini desserts with a candle for my son's birthday. Everything we had was great. The presentation of the food was so pretty. The pizza was a bit on the soggy side due to the tomatoes that were on there but the taste was still good. They have gluten free penne as a pasta option and vegetarian options as well for those with these dietary needs. I can't say enough about our server, she was great. She was so so nice and attentive and made our evening memorable. As a matter of fact, every staff member I encountered here took the time to greet me. I'd love to come back here again for another special occasion! Highly recommend.
We came here for Restaurant Week - the service and food were impeccable. Suzanne was our server and she ran a tight ship throughout the night, always checking on us and making sure everything was to our liking. The Restaurant Week Menu consisted of an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert for $60. I chose the penne carbonara, white house greens, angus filet mignon, and tiramisu. There was also complimentary house bread and butter. The penne carbonara had pasta with Pecorino and Parmesan cheeses, egg, sautéed bacon and black pepper. It was rich and creamy while the pasta was cooked al-dente to tenderness. The angus filet mignon was the 6 oz portion of tenderloin and served with mixed mushrooms in Italian Porcini sauce. It was very tender, had a nice sear, and cooked to my liking (medium rare). The tiramisu was perfect to cap off the night, which was light and cake was moist. We brought our two year old with us and the staff interacted with her to keep her entertained. The chef and GM also came out to ask patrons how everything was, which was a nice touch.
Eric is the best bartender and he made me the blueberry lemon drop I have been crazing since last time we dined here in January. He's adorable and knows how to make the best cocktails! Last time we were here we had the escargot which was delicious and gluten free and the cod which was pretty tasty. This time I'm not particularly hungry so I am going for the calamari piccata and the tuna tartare both gluten free! Tuna Tartare had too much chili oil so I'm not recommending this dish One star off for the valet parking situation. The guy who pulled our car up was wearing TONS of the WORST and STRONGEST cologne and it permeated the entire car so now I'm super nauseous and might barf up my dinner.
